Daniel McDowell, DDS

As the son of an Air Force Veteran Dentist who then also became an established Roseville dentist, Dan McDowell followed in his father's footsteps to pursue dentistry. He attended Sacramento State University and then ventured east to Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio. He did a 1 year residency in Dayton, Ohio but missed the California sunshine and returned home to Roseville and was able to open his own practice in 1985. He has worked hard to keep his practice family-owned and takes pride in taking the time to establish a relationship with each one of his patients. He caters to all of Roseville and the surrounding cities. With a close-knit staff, consisting of dental hygienists, dental assistants, and his longtime front office assistant Pam, they strive to provide personalized care specific to your dentistry needs. He promises to always lend a compassionate ear paired with an honest opinion, quality dental care, and fair pricing.

He has two children that have been raised in the Roseville area and have grown up to also pursue careers in healthcare as a physician assistant and nurse.

Dr. McDowell is a long-time Sacramento Kings fan through thick-and-thin, and enjoys going to games downtown with family. He spends his free time reading mystery novels, playing golf, and training his new puppy, Maggie. Despite being a dentist, he loves his sweets and will never say no to an acai bowl- as long as there is a toothbrush nearby.
